A great afternoon was enjoyed by all at the Des Plaines Public Library on October 12!
Several groups of dancers from AMA Dance & Music School demonstrated four genres of dance, including tap, ballet, jazz and boys’ hip-hop.
All AMA students did a fabulous job showing their talents!
Two AMA piano soloists were also featured in between dance routines. Mike Dela Rosa played Hey Jude by the Beatles and our very own piano instructor, Miss Jessica Walker performed the classical piece, Clowns from the Circus Suite by Joaquin Turina, along with the very popular The One That Got Away by Katy Perry.
We finished off the afternoon with a hip-hop lesson taught by the ever-talented, Miss Kimmy Ehlke!
