A Guy in a Girl’s World: Not a Bad World, by Conrad Frank
To think this all started because I grew up dancing. Dancing is a part of me: it’s part of my background, it’s part of my business mentality, it’s part of my family and its part of my life. When I graduate high school and am no longer dancing with Orchesis, I will still be at my mom’s dance recitals helping backstage. I will still be reminded of how fabulous my sisters are at dancing and how much fun we had growing up learning so much so young. Read more…

Dance: A Guy’s Perspective, by Conrad Frank
Many people view dancing as exclusively for girls. However, those people are wrong. I am a guy. I play football. I wrestle. AND I like to dance. Dancing is cool. Taking dance lessons and learning to perform are tools that have changed my confidence level. Making History – How AMA Was Born
We teach something different at AMA. We teach that it’s NOT about what you look like. (Last time I checked, we do not get to choose the package our body comes in.) We need to teach our children that it is their character and their kindness on the inside that matters most – not their size, the fact that they wear braces or glasses, have acne, or a nose they don’t love. Life is NOT about dance competitions and being told on a specific day that you are the best, or even worse… that you’re a loser. It’s about doing the best you can. Read more…
