AMA’s Performance Team, The AMA Dance Force (ADF), has been very busy performing all over our community. On Thursday, June 19, they kicked off West Fest performing “Wings” and “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.”
They returned once again the next evening with 8 dance routines that wowed an audience of over 300 people. Each routine had a 2nd act of impersonators behind them lip syncing each song. Some of our impersonators included Little Mix, Bette Midler, Pink and the Dixie Chicks.
We were told by Fest Coordinator, Debbie Cook, “We always look forward to an entertaining show by AMA Dance & Music School. Tonight’s performance was REALLY good!”
Husband and co-coordinator, Ray Cook, said, “There was so much to watch, it was a lot of fun!”
On Sunday, June 22, ADF performed during the half-time show for Chicago’s Pro Women’s Basketball team, The Chicago Sky at the Allstate Arena. The game and half-time performance was televised on ABC and ESPN.
We were honored when The Sky coordinator, Bryan Van de Bosch, suggested we perform at the televised game since our performances are always such great crowd pleasers! What a nice compliment!
