A BIG Thank You to everyone who attended our 1st picture day of the year! Smiles, excitement and FUN were on the menu for this very special afternoon. We were 100% ON TIME all day (we even ran early at some points)! Our crew at AMA has the scheduling down to a science so everyone is in and out in minimal time.
Parents are happy, and our students look AND feel like the Superstars they are!
Why do we hold TWO picture days at AMA?
Over the years, we have experienced that we do not get that final costumes in until mid-May. We used to wait until all costumes were in and have one picture day at that time. That day consisted of a grueling 12 hours in order to give everyone their allotted time – which was very taxing on our students in several numbers and our staff was exhausted!
Since we are given a delivery date from the costume company, we know about 40% of the costumes come in a bit earlier (if they have our sizes in stock). With that information, we decided a couple of years ago to hold TWO picture days and get a jump start on the groups whose costumes come in a bit earlier. We have done it this way ever since!
Our 2nd AMA Picture Day is Sunday, May 17th! Any students who have not had their picture taken yet will attend that day and will be given a specific schedule.
