AMA Dance & Music School wants to make sure our students have the opportunity to perform in amazing venues!
In 2011, when Chicago Sky’s marketing manager Bryan Van de Bosch got word of the large production routines that AMA performs, he knew he had to invite to AMA perform for them!
On Tuesday, July 2, 2013, AMA’s performance team performed both the pre-show and half-time show in Rosemont, Illinois, for Chicago’s Professional Women’s Basketball team, the Chicago Sky. The Allstate Arena houses all the Chicago Wolves hockey games and hosts many many concerts with huge sensations such as Justin Bieber, Pink, Miley Cyrus… you name the celebrity or band, they have almost certainly performed here. This is the third year AMA Dance & Music School has performed for the Chicago Sky!
This is a great opportunity for our students to work with a professional organization such as the WNBA. Our students understand that working as a team and doing their best reaps some pretty awesome rewards!
This venue is so vast. The floor is four times larger than what students have ever danced on. And the crowd is the biggest they have ever seen! When the girls take the floor, you can just see the excitement on their faces!
The AMA Dance Force rocked the crowd of 6,000+ with their perfect formations and fabulous choreography. The evening, filled with family, friends, and even a professional television camera crew taping the entire event, went off without a hitch.
It was definitely a night to remember! Congratulations on a job well done! We are SO proud of you!
