Tyra tells us…
“For many years, I took a streetcar to class! I’ve taken up to 5 classes per week, on and off, for probably 40 years. I love the unique movements of hip hop, the rhythm and sound of tap, the look and feel of jazz, the gracefulness and grandeur of ballet. When I’m taking class, I feel years younger. My mind and body are one as I focus on the next move. Dance has given me much joy and fulfillment.”

Miss Ann Marie: “I have had the pleasure of teaching Tyra for almost 25 years! Since the day I met her, she came into class with a positive attitude, a smile, and a whole lot of talent. Tyra has always been a team player and very supportive of her classmates, and our school. She is a very kind person and I truly have been blessed to have her part of my classes for so many years. Congratulations, Tyra!! You certainly are most deserving of Student of the Month!”
