Yes, you read that correctly! On the evenings of July 8, 9 and 10, AMA welcomed 86 campers ranging in age 2 through 7 to the school. All campers who registered in advance were able to attend the camp completely free! The campers were split up into six smaller groups according to age to get the most out of their camping experience with us.
We had such a great week! We wanted to show families in our community who are new to AMA the variety of activities we have to offer here at AMA Dance & Music School!
On Day 1, we offered tumbling class and made a craft. On Day 2, we learned a dance and got to take a Music Funtime Class! “That was really a lot of fun,” said 4-year-old camper, Noah. “We learned a song about ‘pitch’ which means ‘high’ and ‘low’.” Wow! That’s impressive!
And on Day 3, a big show was performed for over 100 parents!
Each night, the parents were treated to hors d’oeuvres and snacks while they were able to observe through AMA’s large one-way viewing windows. A happy AMA staff of 10 worked with the children and answered questions throughout the week. Each child was given a back pack just for attending!
A BIG “Thank You” to all the families that visited that week. We really had a lot of fun meeting you all!
